Purity Audio is the brainchild of a couple of Head-fiers who met at a Head-Fi meet in Hamilton, ON. The original KICAS was known as "HA-1" - a small industrial aluminum box covered with highly functional and unattractive switches, knobs and jacks. HA-1 may not have been the most beautiful amplifier, but it sounded incredible and was built like a tank.

Purity Audio was born out of a mutual passion for immaculate music reproduction. Our work is geared toward the "simple audiophile" – people focused on hi-fidelity music reproduction, plain and simple.
